Chicken Waffle Tenders back at Popeyes

I missed them first time around. Had them this evening.
Yuuuge miss by Popeyes. Super rich. Too much of the waffle breading. Ended up pulling a lot of the breading off to eat the chicken.
Never again.
Back to good ole spicy for me.

3 found useful. Those seem like something that would be difficult for a chain to pull off and apparently they are.

They should have just done a chicken and waffle stick combo. Have waffle sticks and fried chicken fingers in the spicy or mild fry and a cajun syrup dipping sauce.

I tried the naked tenders recently. Not particularly good, but the blackened ranch dip makes them palatable.

When I go to Popeyes I usually just drink a few gallons of the Sweet Heat sauce.
