Chef's Choice Knife Sharpener on Amazon

I see that Amazon has this sharpener Amazon on their deal of the day today. It gets good reviews but I thought I'd ask the experts on here. I am just starting my knife collection and have a J.A. Henckels Zwilling Pro 8" chef knife. Will this sharpener be good for maintaining it? Is my knife a 15 degree, which is what this sharpener is? Debating on whether to buy this or ship the knife off to have it sharpened by Henckels.

Why not just buy a couple sharpening stones and do it yourself. I have 2 different stones, both have 2 sides with different grits with one being a simple wet stone with around a 300 grit on one side and a 600 grit on the other.
Then I have a diamond stone I use for finer work with a 1000 grit and 2000 grit. It too works great with a little water to keep it slick when using.
I also have a leather and Irish Linen barber's strop to fine tune and polish the edges once they are sharpened.
I can shave with any knife in my block, from the cleaver to the smaller paring knives.

Buy that sharpener. Got one for Christmas a couple years ago and it keeps my knives razor sharp.

I have a similar one and it works well. I don't remember it costing that much though. Maybe look around a little?

Yes, the Zwilling Pro is a 15 degree knife.
