LE it may look like trash from the outside but they put out some great products and their people (meat department especially) know whats going on.

I'll drive there to buy grillades or pork fat for cracklings because they know how to cut them. Rouses is clueless when you ask for stuff like that.

I find their grillades are a little to thin. You ever tried The Grillades from Ken's Deer Butcher Shop in Raceland? They my favorites. Aside from that Franks has somw good stuff. I like their Hog Head Cheese and the cut some little steaks called "patio" steaks. I buy them often.
