Those pedicabs work great too.

Keep your plans for SNOB and The Grocery.

If you have time for breakfast, Wise's recommendation of Callie's Hot Little Biscuit is great.

Seafood:
The Ordinary
167 Raw
Coast
Leon's
Fish

Steak:
Oak or Hall's

Misc.:
Poogan's Porch
R Kitchen (small space so reservations are required)
Minero (another one of Sean Brock's restaurants)
Monza
The Macintosh
Cypress

Cocktails:
The Gin Joint
Cocktail Club
Belmont
Rarebit
Proof

Craft beer with great food:
Edmund's Oast
Craftsmen

Only go for craft beer:
Closed for Business
Baystreet Biergarten
Kudu

Since you won't have a car, I guess just walk around to see historic Charleston. Go to White Point Garden or Waterfront Park.

I could keep going, but you cannot go wrong with any of the above.

Riverdogs Food

If I was going, I'd be hitting a Riverdogs game and eating there.

I had an awesome meal at Hall's. Seems like it's a hot spot for after dinner drinks too.

Indeed, it is. Their martinis are great.

Uber isn't at its best in Charleston. There are surge rates every weekend and you can no longer be picked up on King Street. If Yellow Cab wasn't awful I wouldn't use Uber that much.

I had no issues, maybe other cities I've Ubered in are just worse.

Hall's Chophouse and Cru are the two we always do when we go. We went to a hole in the wall pub down the street from our hotel that had solid bar food, The Griffon. My mother in law was impressed with her fish and chips and my husband liked the beer selection.

We usually use the pedicabs to get around but found out about Scoop when we were there a couple of weeks ago. It's free, just tip the driver. Had really great service with them. LINK /
