How do you save a half a diet coke or canned sparking water?

Drink it or chunk it. It's like fast food french fries, saving it for later just doesn't work.

Buy the little 7.5 ounce cans.

If you're worried about them losing their fizz, maybe you could run it through your carbonator, that or just drink it all at once

I don't think I've drank 20 sodas this past year and most of them used as mixers for rum or gin, but who can't drink a single 12 oz. soda without having to save it for later?????
I bet if it was a cold beer you'd damn sure finish it.

I remember back in the day, when can openings looked like below, you could find triangular rubber stoppers for the openings. I recall my grandparents having some. They'd stretch a can of coke over a whole day or so.
