Agreed..it's this faux folksy charm they're going for. Like it's the Charlotte's Web of beer bars.

Sorry to hijack, but with me thinking about how few outside or even porch options to drink and eat in the JP, has their been any more noise about the people with Oak Oven opening at the old nursery spot on Metairie Rd? I thought there was talk of a restaurant and wine bar kind of place with outdoor seating.
