Bump for update
I emailed sweet Caroline and no one responded. Called Rouses. With a two day heads up they can order any amount you need. They said (new Rouses on Burbank) 699 a lb I needed 8. I called Dons and they put 8 on the side. Seasoned 1299 a lb. They are more than I wanted to pay but I need them for Friday.

I saw them at the Asian supermarket on Sherwood and Florida last week. Proceed with caution.

like I said... Billeaud's in Broussard has rabbit - whole or cut up and seasoned. I am picking 5 up there on 12/27. You may want to check if they are cheaper than Don's.

Gerald at Sweetcarolinesrabbittry contacted me. Super guy. All rabbits are local and he processes them for Tony’s and a few restaurants. He processed 8 for me and included the livers and cheeks per my request. Very reasonable price. Give him a week heads up on your order. Highly recommend this outfit if you want to cook some rabbit.
