Need some breakfast / brunch spots in Nola. Unfortunately, I’ll be with our bitchy “wanna be” artist sister-in-law, so maybe something other than a greasy spoon or diner (I only remember Slim Goodys and Camellia Grill).

Just go to Russell's Marina Grill in Lakeview. Big AL is always there. He's a huge very nice black guy and he has a menu item named after him. Tell her it's a progressive establishment. Win/win

Went here a few weeks ago when visiting. My group thoroughly enjoyed.
