Cool concept with some good beer and food. However, the novelty wears off pretty quickly.

And the problem comes in that the building itself is not conducive to sitting down and drinking. It just has a very bland and sterile feel to it.

Glad I went, but not sure if I'll be going back again.

This is exactly what killed Corporate Brew & Draft. There is a reason why most successful bars aren't found in big commercial developments next to grocery stores. Its just bland and sterile with no atmosphere. Cool bars need to create a cool environment on its own and not just catch people walking by.

They should have stuck with their original plan of opening in mid-city

I went Thursday night and Saturday midday. The concept is pretty cool. But I do agree with you that the environment is very sterile. They could also make the outdoor episode a bit better over time. I'm also looking for a way to get in contact with them (They don't seem to have a phone #). My credit card was charged for an amount I definitely didn't spend Saturday.

Every time I hear the name I think of Mid City. I guess that was the point in them keeping it the same.

Really sucks the couldn't (or didn't want to) make it work for the Government Street corridor.

It's brand new, so I think once they hang some pot plants on the patio and get a nice rug, it will tie the room together.

Didn't the whole mid-city idea bite the dust when the Beer Garden was announced?
