Anyone else having trouble with Brewbachers on Bluebonnet? This has been a go-to restaurant for me and my family for the past several years, but in the past two or three months they have often been understaffed (resulting in long wait times), often had staff who are less than friendly, and have had a hard time getting orders right. Is anyone else having this experience?

Thanks in advance for your observations.

Not trying to be condescending, but that has been almost all of my experiences at every BB I've ever eaten at. (Including the location you are speaking of).

I don't remember that one. Where was it on Sherwood?

I can't speak to the service, because as with most restaurants it can be hit and miss, but some of the food quality has gone down. I won't get anything with grilled chicken now because it tastes like rubber. I think they pre-cook it and let it sit. Grilled Chicken croissant was the bomb.

Now I just get burgers for the most part.

Makes me sad.

You are not being condescending at all--thanks for your cordial reply. We had had pretty good experience at BB but I had noticed a strong drop-off of late. It makes me wonder if it is management problem. At this point I am probably done with them.

I agree. I just did take out and was mistakenly given a grilled chicken salad when I ordered a grilled shrimp salad--I only discovered the error when I got home. The grilled chicken was not good at all--"rubber" is a good description.

I had a nice hamburger steak and wife had a good turkey sandwich the other day. Food was good, place was crowded and wait wasn’t too long.

Only thing was they were out of forks and when I mentioned it to the girl at the counter she said I’ll just give you a plastic fork. I said no, you go back and wash some forks and when they are clean let me know. She gave me the stink eye but in a couple of minutes I had a sparkling clean fork. I’m guessing she went in the back, spit on it, wiped it down and brought it to me.

Brewbachers sucks. The one in Drusilla is a complete dump and needs to close.

The only time I ever go there is when a group of people at work want to eat lunch together but can't decide on what they want. The menu is so large that there's something for everyone.

I worked there a lifetime ago. I can assure you it has always been terrible.

Originally it was where the Walgreens is now at the corner of Sherwood and Coursey. They sold out to Walgreens then moved in the building next to Piccadilly. That site is cursed as it’s been turned over numerous times over the years

Yep. BB is the only place that manages to frick up a chicken club. I don’t like their food at all and I’m honestly surprised they’re still around.
