That's her choice. Why do you feel, just because someone has money, they MUST tip more than the standard tipping wages?

It is not Brees' responsibility or obligation to make a waitress wealthy simply because he has money and she doesn't.

Ya commie bastard.

All this. The entitlement from that profession is through the roof.

I usually tip 10% on a take out order.

I worked in restaurants throughout college, and personally, I don't even think that to go orders should get more than a dollar, unless they are bringing it out to my car or something.

But I do it anyway because I feel bad about not tipping more.

Just my two cents worth on this brewhaha, why should I or anyone else but the butthurt staff member, WGAF. The staff member should be worried about their continued employment iff I am the owner.

Hostesses aren't responsible for tip sharing, so the notion that one needs to tip a % based on sales like a server/bartender just isn't correct. It's a merit based tip. Percentages are irrelevant.

Not the chick working the bar/hostess area.

They bring it to your car. A tip is warranted.

eta: What a dumb move by this place. Drew will NEVER step foot back in that place now.

I tip everyone in the building,

The only time I genuinely get uncomfortable about tipping is with bathroom attendants.

Not anyone. Restaurants are required to bring the wage to minimum if they are not making that in tips.

Give me a good reason Drew Brees should tip more than any non millionaire. You've got nothing but entitlement and stupid emoticons.

Damn, this is starting to get good.

I think the irony is that Brees makes what, $25MM a year? C'mon, $3?

I'm surprised he didn't tip more, but that hostess called him out for $2-$3 she didn't get. Hah.

I don't tip for carry out. Makes no sense to me.

Having said that, obviously Brees DOES tip on takeout, so $3 is ridiculously low for a millionaire in the public eye.

Because he has millions of dollars. Give me a good reason why he should tip less than non millionaires.

You've got nothing but ignorant, off based assumptions that you just make up out of thin air.
