Brasa versus La Boca

I go to La Boca quite a bit and have never been disappointed. Crossing the lake tonight and wondering if Brasa is worth checking out instead. Not in the mood for traffic and the parking hunt. They seem comparable in price.

La Boca is one of my favorites and I've eaten there prob 15 times. I had Brasa once. My opinion is that Brasa was good but I preferred La Boca. Boca had bigger portion of skirt steak (14oz for $29 vs 10oz for $24 at Brasa), better chimichurris, better provoleta app. But the Brasa skirt steak did taste good.

Brasa's price have risen. If you are going by their website, don't. They are all $3-4 more. Its good food, but its loud, small and crowded.

La Boca is one, if not the best priced “casual upscale” restaurants in NOLA imo
That said Brasa is really good too but a tad more expensive. Best eats in Jeff Parish

Had the picanha at Brasa on Saturday, it was excellent.
