Jay Ducote announced Govt Brgr today. It’ll be in white star market.

Pretty sure this was an April Fool's joke.

It absolutely is hurting.

They're better off just taking Cow Yum Phat and Govt. Taco and letting them open their own stores elsewhere. The rest of the vendors are forgettable and I just see it continuing to turn over every few months.

Also, Govt BRGR is April Fools joke, I believe.

We went for brunch yesterday and couldn't find a seat. Doesn't seem to be hurting.

Why? Seems like it’s barely a couple years old.

Does white star get plenty of foot traffic. I feel like that’s why the ones in New Orleans are successful.

one meal a week rarely can sustain a restaurant.

I've been for dinner there many different times over various weeknights and it's usually pretty dead. They don't seem to have much business except for Friday night and maybe Sunday brunch. That's not sustainable.

I’m in there for lunch a lot and it’s always steady. That spot needs an entertainment option. A better cocktail spot and add some music once in awhile.

These food halls seem hit or miss everywhere. I hit them up a lot when traveling since I'm solo and don't always know the area. Some have 90% of the vendors closed down while others are brand new with plenty of people in them. They all seem to be pretty dead at night, though.

The New Orleans ones actually seem to do better business than a lot of the others I've been to.

Dat'z Italian is good but to they need to make their crust crispier. The last pizza I got was all flop, almost had to eat it with a fork and knife.

I went to Auction House Market in New Orleans for lunch one day and there were literally 4 customers.

St Roch Market seems to still be drawing in the crowds though.

White Star is pretty busy at lunch, filled with a seemingly endless supply of hipsters lounging around on their macs. At night it’s pretty slow though.

Building is absolutely horrendous and has always bothered me.
