Dats FINE dining for da metry follk! No prices? Wonder if it'll be as over priced and underwhelming as Houstons? I believe this is the same group that has been buying up a lot of restaurants in the Quarter. I think Broussards is their latest aquisition.

Sort of looks like the Houston's menu to me.
I won't lie, I like Houston's for what it is, good consistent food, good service, and a little more than you expect to pay. It's been like that for 25 years at least.
I think they will regret rebranding that location, but what do I know.

First, it's not a re-branding at all. Houston's (Hillstone Group) sold the property and left. They later laid off Robert Hardie (the long time general manager at the St. Charles Avenue Houston's location) for some absurd reasons known only to George Biel (owner of the afore mentioned Hillstone Group). Robert was then recruited by the guys at Creole Cuisine. And, yeah, it's definitely intended to be similar to Houston's.

The owners didn't want their brand in a Metairie strip mall serving all the Ronnies. Word is that location was doing upwards of $10m sales a year and they still walked away

Stopped by tonight. Very minor changes inside. Prob 50% same staff. 80% same wine list. 90% same menu.

This. I'm sure they didn't like sharing the same parking lot as Chili's. I wish J. Alexander's would have taken over the space.

Hillstone seems to be taking a different approach to their business compared to years past. There have been some ownership changes over the past 10 years or so.
