Sorry for another Boudin thread.

I'm coming to BR this weekend. Need to get some boudin for myself and Mouton.

I have heard of Ronnie's and Bergeron's.

I could also stop at Ronnie's in Hammond if that is a good place.

Never had Ronnie's, but I love Bergeron's smoked boudin along with other things from there. I just posted about it in the other boudin thread.

They are both great. The smoked boudin from Bergeron's is different and very good.

For traditional I don't think you'll be dissapoointed with Ronnie's. Get some cracklings while your there to eat in the car.

BR is 3 places

Ronnie's
Jerry Lee's
Bergeron's

none are especially convenient. Ronnie's and Bergeron's offer smoked Boudin

If you want some good hog's head cheese you can make the trip. But not worth it for just boudin IMO.

Ronnie's is best in BR for boudin.

Bergerons has some great stuff for sure, but can't touch Ronnie's for Boudin.

I looked Jerry Lee's up, but it is just too far away.

Boudinlink has it rated the highest of the 3 fwiw.

If you're able, do it. Then, you'll know what you like best for future journeys. Get some smoked chicken wings at Bergerson's. I'm addicted to them.

Benoit's in Addis is a little out of the way but they have pretty good boudin too. And their beef jerky is awesome.

Hog's head Cheese and Bergeron's Spinach & Artichoke dip are pretty unbelievable. I'd throw an ice chest in the car and bring those back with you for sure.
