Randall sold the store a few years ago. He’s now at Randall’s Captain Avery Seafood and Specialty Meats.

The Palestinians that bought the old Randalls didn't waste much time turning it into a shithole.

They were dumb enough to think they could replicate his business.

Randall did really well spinning off to the Captain Avery location.

Indeed. He's got it going on. Has a pretty good plate lunch most days too

Best stop expanding into stores is such a great development.

Best Stop needs to open up a store on the I-20 corridor. The furthest north they currently are is Toledo Bend. They have a couple locations in the Houston area.

Thank you for suggestions on Bergeron’s in north Bossier. Picked up a bunch…also got a lb of ribs and they were awesome.

Log Cabin in Ruston has hot boudin and cracklin and some other goodies. Pretty solid. Convenient to interstate

The chicken cracklins are really good at log cabin. They do have some refrigerated stuff including some different brands of boudin too.

I hope some of the big 4 from SWLA will open some stores along I-20 in the next few years. I had barely heard of boudin growing up in Ruston. Now I’m seeing boudin in gas stations north of Little Rock. Best Stop can be found at several places now so that’s encouraging.

Unfortunately I had to divert to Benton Rd and could not get over to Swan Lake. I am planning to stop tomorrow, also curious to check out their beer selection.
