I’ll try White Bull today, and Friday we’re going to a Red Sox game so will try Eventide then.
Thanks again.

If you think you're going to fire some snarky prick of a comment at me and not get fired back on you are sadly mistaken.

You are incredibly angry at me. I honestly wasn’t trying to be snarky but based on your reaction you seem like you deserved it.

this is the food board, get a life
I would much rather take advice from someone who knows the landscape.
Boston has plenty of places that have been around for a very long time that you can't go wrong at and they also have a lot of places that only a long time patron would know about.
I've never gotten bad advice from places to try on this board while also winging it and in a city like Boston sometimes you find somewhere to eat based on where you are that particular day because of convenience.

I’m interested in Wooster MA area.

Starting in the south Boston waterfront then to Worcester.

I don’t get out to Worcester often so I’m afraid I can’t be of much help there. But if you’re driving, it’s worth stopping before you get to Worcester and having a couple beers at Treehouse in Charlton.

The Seaport has a ton of options. Trillium and Harpoon are two breweries mentioned earlier in this thread and I would definitely recommend those. For restaurants, Woods Hill is great and I always recommend Row 34 for seafood.

Well, I guess I'm going to piss both of y'all off
Ended up stopping at Luke's Lobster, my daughter got the Lobster Roll, I got the Sampler Trio. Lobster Roll was outstanding, but I think the Crab Roll was my favorite. Their garlic butter/"secret seasoning" was delicious. I've never seen my daughter scarf down food like she did that roll
Still going to hit up Eventide before the game Friday, wanna try their Lobster Roll and get some Clam Chowder.

We're hitting up Momosan this evening, looking forward to that for sure.

Not going to piss me off - you do you and I’m glad you enjoyed.

I always forget about that place and I’ve never been. It’s a newer place but it is right on the FT. Good to know it’s a viable option!

So we just got back from several days in Boston. We were there to finally lay my parents to rest in West Roxbury. Figured I'd chime in here to provide some new info and validate info of others.

We stayed at the new Canopy by Hilton right by the North End. Great location to access North End and Faneuil Hall area.

As for eats, here's our takeaway:

Saltie Girl - went here taking Abita's recommendation as we had never been. Wife insists this is the absolute best clam chowder she's ever had. Lobster roll also legit. Great call and highly recommend.

Tresca on Hanover in North End - had dinner with the siblings and nieces/nephews. Long time favorite of my wife and I. Did not disappoint.

Capital Grille - this is in Back Bay on Boylston Street. Great steak restaurant. Service and food were both excellent. Great bourbon list too.
Definitely recommend if this is what you are in mood for.

Ocean Prime - this is in Seaport area. Fantastic restaurant. Great steak and great wine list. Would recommend.

Chatham Fish Pier - this is way out in Chatham on the Cape. Took the ride out there for first time since we sold our parents' place out there in 2022. Per the wife, this is by far the best lobster roll. Ever. Better than Saltie Girl. Comes in a to-go box but its legit. We wanted to go to Sundae School, which is the best ice cream by far, but they were only open Friday - Sunday. I was crushed....

Mike's Pastry/Modern Pastry - love both and visited these on alternating days. Think the nod goes to Mike's on the cannoli, but to Modern on the blueberry muffins. Cupcakes are a push.

Dolce on Hanover in North End - stopped by here several times to get coffee for the wife. Staff spoke mostly Italian which was great. Wife loved the coffee so we had to walk by there the morning we left town to get one more.

Great trip and truly one of my all-time favorite cities. Enjoy your visit and hopefully you find these posts helpful.
