My kids like when I make chicken and rice with them. Season chicken in a bowl with cumin, cayenne, turmeric, granulated garlic, curry powder and olive oil. Brown thighs and remove. I slice white onions and a yellow/red/orange bell pepper. Cook those down and add 4 cups chicken broth or water with bouillon cubes. Add 2 cups rice and season again with seasonings I used on chicken. Add salt to taste. Add chicken thighs back to pot (I add black beans bc the kids like them) and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer on low for around 25 minutes.

My favorite for thighs is marinade is soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, sriracha, diced green onion.

Also great on legs.

Greek Yogurt, cumin, all spice, sage, and some Cavenders greek seasoning. Marinade your thighs.

Preheat your oven to 350 and place them on the top rack for about 30 minutes flipping halfway through.

Carve dat and put it on pita bread with hummus, cilantro lime rice and a salad.

Its a poor man's take on shawarma.

Shawarma marinade from Kroger, "Private Selection' brand. Grill.

Serve with soft flatbread and Greek yogurt-dill sauce [yogurt, lemon juice, dill, s/p, garlic powder], sliced lettuce, diced tomato.

If they are out of the Shawarma, then use the same brand's "Tandoori" marinade.

Chicken sauce piquant is another option if you like tomatoes.
