I need a new boiler, is a dual jet worth it or a single jet boiler works just as fine?

single jet allows you to drink more cold beverages waiting for the water to boil.
personally, I've never been in a hurry to boil crawfish as the endeavor is an enjoyable 5-hour marathon amongst friends/family.

I'd get a banjo with a 30 psi regulator.

Do the bayou classic boiler , double jet is very loud .

I don’t think it matters re jet size. Some people wanna do it fast. I never thought a few extra minutes was a big deal.
One thing I did was switch out the cheap regulator and that helped w/propane tank freezing up.

When I was a kid, my dad got a large banjo burner out of a water heater. This burner had a much wider heating surface than the ones I see today. He tapped it into our natural gas line. This was before boiling rigs were generally offered in my area (Metairie). We caught our own crawfish at the spillway. It took a little longer, but did the job.

They make 20 inch banjos now. Monsters.

What about the natural gas rings with jet nozzles? They come in several sizes. I Have always wondered about these. Does anyone have input on how fast this natural gas type of burner works?
