Boiling a couple sacks of crawfish and I have a dozen crabs as well. How long to boil/soak crabs and how to accomplish this with crawfish?

Crabs turn red when they're done.
Drop them in a rolling boil them until they float.
Turn off heat then soak them until they sink.
10 minutes boil at the very most. Soak for around 20-30 minutes
Throw in some frozen corn while they're soaking to cool the water a bit.

Crabs actually require boil time. Probably about 5-7 minutes. So it should work to drop the crawfish in after that and bring back to a boil and shut it off to soak

Drop you crabs in boiling water, when it comes back to a boil, drop your crawfish. When they float, cut the fire, when the sink, pull them out.

I boil everything separate even the sides. Ice crabs 30 minutes before boil, this helps keep the claws attached to body. Boil crabs boil for 12 minutes, cut fire, after 5 minutes check both sides of the claw to see if the meat comes out intact, if not check let soak for another five minutes, and so forth. When meat comes out intact, pull and enjoy.

Put the crabs in ice water for a few minutes before dumping them in the pot.
Get your water to a boil and put just the crabs in and boil for 5 minutes. Dump your crawfish on top and bring back to a boil, then cut the heat and soak like you normally do for crawfish.

Fire up your pot and you will have 3 or 4 assholes coming to tell you how to boil. no need to worry.

You can boil a dozen crabs in small pot for 6-8 minutes and let soak for 20-30 minutes. Boil crawfish in larger pot. Pretty easy.
