Blue Oak wings are my go-to pregame Pelicans meal.

So I made ended up going to Blue Oak last night out of convenience and got the Buffalo wings. Holy shite they lit my arse up. So damn good though.
Got the sprouts which I thought were even better than Butcher's sprouts and the potato salad which was decent.
The other people in my group got the BBQ and seemed to like it.
Everyone was spot on about that bar though. They suck, the dude hounded me every time I went in to grab a beer to let it be known that I wasn't allowed to stay unless I gave him ten dollars.
We had no problem sitting outside though. Will definitely go back for the wings and I want to try the BBQ next time. Screw that bar though.

I was the guy that got shushed. First by a lady at the table next to us, THEN by the owner, after our group already settled down and tried to be respectful of everyone else. Dude was super condescending about it too. Went outside after that.
Blue Oak wings were great. Will definitely be back to try some of their other stuff. Will just get it to go or eat outside. Won't give the bar any more business though.

I love The Joint, but I like McClure's better! I'll have to try Blue Oak. Sounds like wing heaven!
