Is there a place in or around Baton Rouge that does it?

If not, where are the best places in Louisiana to get it?

Thanks

Pamplona in Lafayette has it on the menu, but I genuinely don’t know where to get it straight up.

Le Bon Boucon? Someone was just talking to me about this place. I need to go there soon.

Is that the same as Boudin Rouge/Blood Boudin? Babineaux's Slaughter house in Cecilia made it. Online says it's in Breaux Bridge.....and it closed. Too bad, it was very good and the only place to buy it direct, since it was a meat market and slaughter house.

Ever since Bourdain did shows at Lakeview RV in Eunice, they seem to host more and more tv outlets wanting a real cajun boucherie. They have several a year now, and usually make the blood boudin amonst all the other things they do with the hog. Contact them and ask.

You drain the blood from a slaughtered P.I.G. hog and then whisk in salt until it has pudding like consistency. It's mixed with rice and spices and stuffed into a casing.
