Blackstone 17" or 22" Camping Model?

I'm about to buy one of the smaller models for camping. I love the bigger models but have not used the smaller models.
Any advice on whether to get the 17" single burner or 22" double burner?

double burner seems like it would give you more even cooking

Yea definitely. The double burner is about twice the price though. I think it will be worth it, but I was wondering if anyone had experience with both.

I have the 17" model and love it. When I'm at home I wish I had something bigger but it's perfect for camping. I think if I had gone with the 22" version I would have been happier with it at home but aggravated with packing it.
ETA: Walmart has the 17" for $89 bucks. LINK

I have the 17 inch griddle with the side burner/fryer basket. If I was cooking for more than our family, I would want the larger version. I only use the griddle most of the time, and if I were looking for one to take camping, the 17 inch would be great. Mine is not super heavy to move around, but when we go camping I like to pack as light as possible.

Does anyone know how hot the 17" model gets?

I'd go with the 2 burner, but thats just me. I like having a 2nd burner on low to cook certain items at differnt temps

Pretty sure there is a model that has legs that fold up underneath it so you can kind of use it out camping but also at home. I was thinking of scooping it for the multifunctionality.

I got a 17” on sale at Walmart for $40. Just monitor Brickseek.com for deals.

The burners are set up in an H formation, so anything right in the middle gets pretty hot. I can sear a steak on mine if I have it cranked up all the way and close the lid for a couple of minutes. That was one of the features that helped me decide on this smaller one with the side burner. It has a nice domed lid attached. I don't think the standard models have this. Mine is the Adventure Ready one. And it also has cooler spots near the edge, which is nice when I'm frying a pound of bacon. I can lay out about 7-8 strips, and once those start to shrink I will flip them to the bottom or top edge and put fresh slices on.

HOW HOT DOES THE BLACKSTONE 17 INCH GRIDDLE GET?
On average, it takes 17 inches of the Blackstone Griddle just 8 minutes to reach a temperature of 640 degrees Fahrenheit. It allows you to cook up 12 eggs, 9 pancakes, and even a whole lot more for yourself as it has a large capacity.
HOW HOT DOES THE BLACKSTONE 22 INCH GRIDDLE GET?
The 22-inch griddle has the same heating power as the 17-inch one and takes about 20 to 30 seconds more to finish heating up and reach a maximum temperature of 640 degrees.
