Hot Tamale Heaven in Greenville? Solly’s in Vicksburg? What you got?

Heavenly is the best to me, Solly's are very good, and Big Poppa's in Natchez (not in the Delta) are very good.

Airport Grocery in Cleveland has a good tamale, or did years ago, but don't get the chili over the top.

Can you go through Natchez? If so, Big Poppa’s has a fine tamale (Donut Shop location) .

I’ve had Big Poppa’s at the Donut Shop before and didn’t think they were anything special

They are a very solid Delta Style tamale, but maybe not your style, perhaps?

The tamales at the donut shop are very good. Solly’s in Vicksburg is great too. Try some of their hamburgers while you are there. It’s a Krystal style burger with chili sauce and onions. Mighty fine

The 84 truckstop in Brookhaven has tamales that I’ve heard are good but haven’t tried them yet.

Hot Tamale Heaven
5 o’clock on Deer Creek in Scott
Crystal Grille in Greenwood

Those are my 3 favorites in the Delta.

Stopped at Solly’s and got 1/2 dozen tamales and a chili cheeseburger. I really liked the tamales and the burger (which was full-sized, not Krystal-sized) was great.
