Best Tacos in the NOLA area?

After recently getting back from Texas and going to L.A. a few months back, I really miss the cheap large variety taco places, or even local chains like Torchy's (seriously who could go to Taco Bell when you have a Torchy's around)
I know we don't really have Mexicans around (we mostly have centro-Americans) but our taco options have always been lacking. Maybe I just don't know the spots.
Any help?

Taqueria Guerrero for authentic
A new place near the Fairgrounds called Catty Shack I've heard pretty good things about.

I've only been twice and had and enjoyed it both times. Last time I got the Trailer-park -Trashy and the Republican.
First time I got the independent and the one with Carne Asada. Been excellent and good price.

Mostly latin. Not Mexican. But I did stop at one in Kenner I never tried. Tacos El Gordo.
They make the tortillas fresh. It is pretty good.

The thing in the back is a Vampiro like a mini Mexican pizza. It's a $1 more, the other tacos are $2.50 comes with chips and two salsas and bean soup.
My bill was $10.
$13 with tip not bad.

I'll third these guys
But the Carne Asada at Georgia's and the chicken at Taco Loco are probably my two favorites in the area.
