Billy’s pepper jack boudin ball is probably my all time favorite single bite of food.
They need a line just for that. Sell them in batches of 3 for a fixed price. Nothing else would be sold in that line so it MOVES.
I'd stop every time I pass for 3 boudin balls, but as it is with the insane lines, I don't even get off the interstate.

Billy's new, large grocery store in Krotz Springs is coming along nicely.. Supposed to open this Fall, with plate lunches, et al.
Johnson's placed in all three categories in the Lafayette Boudin Cookoff:
1st Place in Specialty for their Pork Belly and Boudin Ball Slider with Garlic/Green Onion Aioli
1st Place in Traditional Pork Boudin
2nd Place in People Choice

Man, LEGNONS in New Iberia is hard to beat. It's on Jefferson Terrace about 2 miles off of highway 90. They have high end meats and sausage. All delicious and top quality.

for a question asked all the time, that's the best and most in-depth response I've seen

Rabideaux's on the sausage. Nunus has it in Laffy, or you can stop in Iowa.
Best sausage in the area. Period, end of discussion.

Best Stop.
But, it's subjective.
See I rather Billy's at number 1. Ill wait 10 minutes to get what I consider the best.

Come to T-Jim’s in Cottonport and get some fresh pork sausage with the green onion

Billeaud's
Ive become partial to this. The line at Billy's has gone out of hand but I think that's due to how good it is.
But Billeaud's doesn't have quite the heat and heartburn and never a major wait.

Best Stop is the GOAT. Had their Boudin tons of times but just recently tried the boudin balls. Bought 3 and ate some while getting gas just before I-10. Drove back to Best Stop to get some more balls before heading home.

the frozen pepperjack boudin balls from Billy's are great too. Put them in the oven for 30 minutes at 350 and they are 90% as good as when fresh.
