Last 2 experiences at Feliciana have been bad enough that I’m not going back anytime soon. We went for lunch on a weekend a few weeks ago. Appetizers never came out and the server came to the table maybe once every 25 minutes. Had to repeatedly ask for water refills. Apps finally came out after entrees. They comped the apps, but it was frustrating.

Last week, we went for lunch and the food was not good. Ordered chicken and mussels. The chicken came out cool. Most of the mussels weren’t opened and half of them weren’t cooked through. Wife is not a picky eater by any means but she wouldn’t eat them.

Hate to hear that. We’ve had good times there.

Tchefunctes used to be great. We’ve had bad experiences there recently and probably won’t be back anytime soon. Way too expensive to wait over an hour for a heat lamp treated steak. Their pastry chef is excellent and the king cakes are one of my favorites.

Aperitif is consistently good. Hoping they change the menu up soon. I was hearing they are opening up a new place in the old McClains location but it seemed like it was going to be more of a cocktail bar.

Agreed. I was disappointed because we’ve likewise had several really good times/meals there. It feels like they are struggling a bit to keep servers. I got used to a few faces after they opened and have seen entirely new ones the last couple of times I’ve been.

Hmm…I made a reservation at Feliciana as a possible dinner option Friday. Good to know. This thread provides a lot of good info.

Now to decide on Sunday brunch…

We’ve been three times in two months and spectacular every time. I will be very disappointed if they are slipping on consistency as well as service. The incredible service has been the best part

It’s the best restaurant in that area. Hard to discus here though

Sucks that the greyhound closed though, that was our favorite

Space will be taken over by an “upscale Mexican” place. I believe by the La Carretta folks

Yeah the waiter told us the other night. Just what we need another Saul Rubio joint. You can’t walk a block without tripping over one in Hammond and they all have one thing in common…they look great and the food is mediocre

I wouldn’t get my hopes up its probably not going to be any good
