I had some veal tenderloin at Stella! once that was amazing. That squash soup is awesome too, but at the time I wasn't sure I ever wanted to eat anything but veal filet for the rest of my life.

I loved that place, especially since it had professional waiters instead of dumbass college kids.
When?

I didn't say they only had professional waiters.

In Baton Rouge, the Lobster Pumpkin Bisque they served last Christmas Season was heavenly.
In the U.S., I remember an excellent braised shortrib ravioli at FiAMMA Trattoria and Bar at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
In the world, a veal involtini in Florence... can't remember the name of the restaurant.

They had one that I can think of. The rest of us were just earning beer money.

The old black guy Joey brought over from the Village?
When'd you work there?

Greg? It was probably around '94 - '95.

Yeah, that's him.
I was there somewhat briefly, while R&K's son-in-law was "managing" the joint.
(ETA, not their former one, who eventually took over.)

Back when the Binion family still owned the Horseshoe in Las Vegas they served a 16oz. veal T-Bone in their steakhouse that was incredible. Nothing fancy, just incredibly good food.
I have to give the grilled oysters at Drago's some support although many around here now take them for granted.
