That's one of my go-to orders at DiMartino's: roast beef with mayo and gravy only. Lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, and other things just get in the way.

lettuce and tomato yes, not needed
pickles are a must though to cut the fat and richness

So, 4000?

If you ate a poboy everyday, 7-days a week, that feat would take 11 years.

Are we really doing this on a Wednesday am ? Alright then let me cue up the opening scene of Saving Private Ryan and get my popcorn.

Went here recently for the roast beef and it was just not good. Onion rings were lit but roast beef was salty as hell.

One of the worst takes I have seen. I find it glorious. Messy, but great.

R&O's, Mahony's, and Adams St. Grocery are at the top of my power rankings right now but it's really hard to rank them. Had a damn good poboy at Tracey's also last week watching the Saints game.

It looks like R&O’s is the heavy favorite. My instinct was Parasol’s, so glad I asked.

Thanks to all who replied except Gaston who has a shitty take on roast beef poboys apparently.

Parasol’s was my favorite but haven’t had it in a decade so that might be nostalgia taking the wheel

R&O's has my favorite Roast Beef Po Boy and my all around favorite po boy in the Italian Combo.
They run the sausage and meatballs through the slicer, and it is amazing.

Last time I went to Parasol’s they had some real shiitbirds working there. Brutal service and the French bread was like a cracker. - beyond stale.

Firecracker shrimp poboy was a disappointment that day.
