R2R has never been to Parsol's and lives in the hood. Parsol's had a lock on the best RB for many years and he's never been. Automatic DQ from poboy opinions in my book. Not to mention he would never eat one for dinner.

I moved here after ownership swapped hands between Parasol's and Tracey's. Thus I abscond from your opinion's custody.

Now you're never going to get to listen to his much-hyped reggae collection.

Tracey's sucks (although a good friend works there , and she can be slightly bitchy).

Parasol's was great a decade ago.

Mahoney's is a little more expensive but very good, IMO.

Haven't been to Guy's in awhile, but I assume it's still very good.

Domilise's only for nostalgia. Food not that good .

The firecracker shrimp at parasols is awesome, but be careful you arent biting into a hypodermic needle first

Thanks for all the suggestions, I'll keep them in mind for next time around that area.
We decided on Mahoney's after reading the menu. We ordered the peacemaker-best of them all, the shrimp & fried green tomato-good but kinda lacked in the seasoning, & muffuletta-BAD! bread was ok, olive mix was sub par, & was loaded with deli ham. Debris fries-very good.
I would def go back for another peacemaker & to try their fried shrimp &/or fried oyster poboy. Loved the bread. I'm a Central Grocery faithful so a muffuletta has to be pretty spectacular to impress me, this one came nowhere near that standard.
