I hit up johnson's the most since my folks live close to there. Other favorites are nunu's and my fav used to be t-boy's in mamou but i haven't been there in some time.

Just returned from New Iberia and brought back 30lbs of boudin- 20lbs of pork and 10 crawfish- all from Legnon's in New Iberia! Its the best and I went on a boudin taste run to NuNu's, Shawn's,Johnson's,Tiny Prudhome,Bourque's, and and Vautrot's and they can't hold a candle to Legnon's! I do love only the smoked boudin from the Best Stop which I got another 10lbs of along which a gallon jar of cracklin's! My yeti will smell good for a month!

Bergeron's in Lobdell. Best boudin i've tasted. They also have great sausage and hog heads cheese.

Picked up some smoked boudin from Hebert's which is just north of I-10 at either the Breaux Bridge or Henderson exit. Thought it was excellent. Anyone else tried it? How does it compare to BestStop?

Got 10lbs pork boudin from Bourque's Super Store in Port Barre.....not convinced that it is the best, but it is very, very good!

Also check out Billy's in Krotz Springs for the best cracklins around

I have had a few boudin sandwiches, the chop idea sounds good, can it be done possibly with a poblano pepper, sort of a boudin chile rellano?

Oh damn did I just invent awesomeness

Ha ha. Probably half the people who graduated high school b/w 2000 and 2003 or so (at least the ones from Sacred Heart). I went to high school in Eunice and went to LSUE for 2 years before going to LSU in BR.
