Absolutely correct on Mo's! What a great place! Gotta get the sliced meatball as a topping!

We just moved to Marrero, and have been going to Mo's once a week for a couple of slices - unbelievably delicious - and what a bargin - one slice of pepperoni is like $3 and its HUGE - I saw a guy who had never been there before, order 2 slices for himself, when they handed him the box, he looked at me and shrugged his shoulders, and said, "I didn't know"

Yeah, Mo's is definitely a bargain. We used to go eat there about once a month when I taught school at Higgins High. Their calazones (sp) are great too.

Did it take you 3 months to find a pizza place because you started this a long time ago and just decided to bump it.

I heard there is one in Baton Rouge is this true. What kind of pizza do they serve there.

No there isn't one in BR. It's Roman style pizza, similar to Fleur De Lis, only much much better and fresher. It's a party in your mouth.

I have given up on pizza in Baton Rouge. The only edible one is from Whole Foods--pretty good East Coast pie.

Try the Village sometime. I'm telling you, it'll be one of the best, if not the best, steaks you will ever have.
I used to spend two weeks a month in Shreveport-Bossier City, and I ate at the Village at least 20 times. For my money the steaks at the Village were not anywhere close to the steaks at Jack Binion's Steakhouse at the Horseshoe. Also the Village was more expensive and had worse service than Jack Binion's.
The best restaurant I ate at in Shreveport was Monsieur Patou. It's too bad they couldn't operate profitably in Shreveport.
