What are some good spots to park and tailgate near the grove? Was looking at a lot on old taylor rd between university and the rv lot. Also wondering if it would be feasible to park and tailgate at swayze field? What time would be best to get on campus to secure a spot close to the grove for a 6pm kickoff? Thanks and looking forward to my favorite road trip in the SEC!

bacon, ham hocks, pickled pork all work well. Go easy on the bacon or it takes over.

Let's face it. There isn't the same kind of spirit as there is for football. Well, LSU is a football school. After football, it is a baseball school. For LSU, filling the PMAC on a chilly, damp night in January is not so bad at all. Maybe in a few years, if Trent is as successful as we hope he will be, we will the old Deaf Dome back. But unlike football, fans aren't going to do as much to create that atmosphere. They will need to see it on the court first. Fair? No, but that's how it is.

If we are not moving the Intimidator to the new Box, then we need to make sure that we have a pretty good idea of what that outfield panorama is going to look like. We have an obligation to the world of college baseball to be a special place to play the game. Any ideas on what that outfield beyond the wall will or should look like?
