Modelo Negra

Is an Austrian recipe brought to Mexico in the early 20's. It is a Dunkel-style lager that is the next best thing to getting a Dunkel in Bavaria. It is among my favorites. I had a Bohemia Obscura that was really good as well.

Lost40 Logger Rita: It's seriously is a great take on the style.

For "real" Mexican beers, I tend to drink Bohemia (but it's a pilsner).

I know it is not political topic and I will get the down votes. But thought some would be interested in the water rights controversy in Mexico related to these brands.

Anyone had El Sully?

I’m interested in trying some of the craft Mexican style lagers this summer, and this one is on my list.

Interesting.
Finding truth in these situations is often hard but it would not be much of a leap for me to believe a large company is in bed with the government.

One of the waiters at Superior told me that this is what the locals drink, so that’s what I usually go with

Why is that?
I know it is "because I like it" but it seems pretty generic to be the only beer you drink.

Not ragging on you. Just asking.

Because I'm not a beer snob and once I find something I like I stick with it.
