I recently got a crockpot for Christmas, and I figured I would ask you guys what some of your favorite meals to make in a crockpot would be. I was never somebody that would cook a lot, but I do want to put it to use. Any advice is welcome. Thanks.

Standard beef pot roast would have to be number one. There's a bunch of different variations on this. There's no wrong way to do it. It's very forgiving. I tried the MS Pot Roast last time an enjoyed it.

That’s a slamming recipe. I make it pretty often and it’s a cant miss. I’ll try to run down some of the garlic/herb butter mentioned.

Red beans with sausage/ham are on point in a crock pot. Let is slow cook overnight or turn it on in the morning before you leave for work then all you need to do is cook the rice.

Shredded Mexican chicken is ridiculously easy. Basically the main ingredients I use is chicken, taco seasoning, and salsa. Use this as a base and mess around with the seasoning and salsas as you wish. Throw whatever in there and let it cook for about 6 hours. It will shred easily and you can use it for whatever. I sometimes add black beans at the end when I am shredding. I used to add corn as well but have stayed away from that.
I make tacos, veggie bowls, over rice, etc.

I like to buy some cheap round steaks, hit them hard with pepper, toss in whatever vegetables I have (carrots, potatoes, mushrooms, onions, bell pepper, celery, etc.) and add a little beef broth or red wine. Cook some rice, you got dinner.
