Not to take sides here count, but I think that place would qualify as being on the water.

What happened here? I remember eating here about 15 years ago for my cousin's college graduation. If it's the same place... Right on a river, good BBQ and Beer, party boats cruising past...

Middendorf's 7/10

I didnt know this was in NOLA METRO.

That would be like saying that R&O's is located in New Orleans.

I went not long after it opened and it was packed, 6 months later nothing. I think the bridge to get there from pond chuck being out for a year really hurt them.

It's close enough. Some groups include Tangipahoa in the NOLA Metro, so I included it. As such, it is like saying R&O's is in New Orleans. But it's nothing of the sort of saying R&O's is in a specific New Orleans neighborhood where it is not. Bucktown is never classified as part of of Lakeview, because Bucktown is older, in terms of European settlement, than Lakeview.

In Slidell:
Michaels (US11)
The Dock
Nathans (bayou Bonfouca)
Phils Marina Cafe (Eden Isles)

pre-Katrina:
The Port Hole (US11 at Oak Harbor)
Salvaggios (next door neighbor to the Port Hole)

(with all the rain yesterday/today there may be a few more at present)
