I used to work there a very long time ago. The reason why it's better at Drusilla?
First, they don't pre-cook the hamburgers. Second, the cooking staff has been there FOREVER. And finally, the grill is really seasoned well.
I agree with this. They opened this location when I was in high school and a couple of friends of mine worked there forever as well. Chuck Macmurdo and Cheryl Hartman. I still go there on occasion and when I walk out I smell like a cooked greasy hamburger.

they do...the meat patty is fresh and has a lot of seasonings blended into it. they cook it after you order it too. thats what i call homemade...not taking a thin frozen patty out the freezer and throwing it on the grill...

dempsey's cheeseburger and byron's both different than one another but good...had the burger at the chimes sat, i was glad i split it because it was terrible! not seasoned not and switghed the buns...it fell apart and was way too soft..so the combo of a mushy bland burger and a mushy bun sucked!

I worked with Cheryl and Liz.
I see Cheryl's brother on facebook from time to time. I'm not sure what she's doing now.
Billy and Scott still work there and are a good reason why the food is always better there than any of the other locations.

Mason's. Best burger I've ever had.

Had the cheeseburger at Kona Grill in Perkins Rowe couple months ago. Thought it was awesome. #/4 of a pound, cooked to order, with really good homemade style onion rings. Not cheap, but damn good, and you can get sushi for apps as well.

Fleming's is offering at the bar, homemade burger for $6 before 6 p.m.
Haven't had it, but I am sure it has to be good.

any burger made in a restaurant is by definition not homemade.

Saw him on the Kitchen Show cooking at the Woodlawn High School deal.

I don't know either. I think she finally got married though. She could smoke a fatty.

There a few places that have awesome burgers in town but anyone who serves a hamburger on a roll not a bun should be disqualified...

I had a great homestyle burger at SkyHook today. Next time I need them to hold the mustard.

until i find a better one, my vote goes to Mason's

Mason's is really, really good, but another worth trying is at Jasmine's On The Bayou on Jones Creek. Hand-patted, well-seasoned, cooked to order, fresh plentiful toppings, and enough size choices to suit anyone's appetite (up to a 2-pounder called the "Grande Isle"!).
