It is a sushi restaurant in the hood. I call that a hole in the wall.

Are a lot of restaurants in NOLA closed on Monday? Going to a concert a week from today at House of Blues and was looking for something inexpensive since Brag won't be there to pay

I wanted to do Boucherie, but it's closed :(

Looks like you can't really miss it when you drive by though

I don't know if I'd consider a can't miss stand alone building on Carrolton a hole in the wall

Yes. I would seriously consider eating at NOLA. It is Emeril's casual restaurant. It is on St Louis Street in the Quarter. Open on Mondays.

Yo Mama's.. If you are lucky enough to eat upstairs, you'll eating in a room with a stripper pole, various skulls on the wall, and a bathroom that glows red.

Damn good burgers though and every type of tequila you can imagine.

Y'alls concept of inexpensive is so different than ours in BR But I just made reservations anyway! If I'm going to spend $ eating out regardless, might as well be worth it.

ETA: nevermind :( The concert is at 7. NOLA doesn't open until 6. GRRRRRR

It is close. You should be able to do an app and entree in that time frame.

I made a thread about it so I can stop hijacking this one

I will do NOLA if nothing else comes along, but I hate to be pressed for time like that. I hate doing it to myself and moreso the servers. The concert is at 7:00 so I'd like to be at House of Blues by 6:30. I can't eat a whole meal in 30 minutes lol
