Best frozen crawfish etouffée

A friend of mine loves Cajun cooking and is not a great cook. Neither is his wife. He lives out of state.
I want to send him a great representation of crawfish etouffee that I can order online and have shipped to him. I’d like to keep the total order around $100 or less.
I was going to go with Folse, but figured I should see if you guys can steer me to something better?

If he doesn't want to go through the process of making a roux and wants something quick, the Cajun Power Etoufe`e in a jar I find really good. I just add a little of the trinity along with some crawfish.

Joey's and Hebert's are both excellent recommendations

I haven't had Hebert's though I enjoy many of their other products. The etouffee is the cream of mushroom soup version. I suspect this is true of many of the frozen versions. I looked up Rachael's in Lafayette and hers also has cream of mushroom soup.

The Louisiana brand mix is pretty fool proof...
And delicious!

I guess I never looked at the ingredients but you are right. For something heat and serve from frozen though its the best I've tried. Reminds me of the Chimes.

I don't doubt that the flavor is good. I've had some tasty versions made with that soup. I call them faux etouffee. It would likely be fine to send, but if the OP wants to send something that's a great representation of crawfish etouffee, I don't know if that is what he wants. If he just wants to send a tasty crawfish dish that's easy to heat and serve, this would be fine as would the one from Rachael's in Lafayette. I've ordered other things from her site and shipping was very reasonable. It was in state, but reasonable.

Poche's meat market in Breaux Bridge. His is always good especially over fried fish.
