Always liked finding down-home taqueria's over on Caesar Chavez. Been several years but there use to be bunches with different specialties. Are there still many of these around?

The brick and mortars are gone, but the Las Trancas trailer is pretty good.

Marcelino Pan y Vino over in the east is an awesome breakfast taco type place.

2 of the best places I've been this year include Kuneho and Fukumoto both in the east.

Junes on South Congress is good but I like those places in the east much better

Hopdaddy is probably the most overrated burger place ever.

How is it over-rated? You don't think the burgers taste good? Too pricey? Not worth the wait?

IMO, they have a few burgers that are hands down the best I've ever had (Magic Shroom, Greek, and El Diablo). Their tuna burger is also very good. They use quality ingredients and the burgers patties are thick and juicy. Their fries are awesome. They make their own ketchup, chipotle ketchup, and horseradish honey mustard...all of which are very good.

And the wait time is not as bad as it used to be because they have several locations now.

It's the fact that people wait that kills me (I've eaten there twice and didn't wait either time btw). The burgers are good-very good and interesting like you said, but they aren't worth waiting 40+ minutes for.

I mostly agree. I might be ok with waiting 45 minutes, but on rare occasions. That goes with most food places in general, no matter how good. I usually don't even bother going if I see that the line is at least 10 deep out the door.
