If we are now talking about local, non-chains, which is where I usually goto, then Bayou Hot Wings, S Claiborne Ave.

You and I think alike.

Hooters is my go-to down here just because we don't have a Pluckers. Naked, hot, extra crispy with light sauce, all flappers. Daytona Shrimp for the table to snack on.

Really surprised at all the Wing Stop recs. The one in Thibodaux is not good at all, IMO. Ate there once, never again. But I did remember the fries being good.

Ate at Pluckers for the first time after the LSU/Ole Miss basketball game last weekend. Loved it. Had half hot/ half Gold Rush (?) and it was very good. The table shared the sampler tray with pickles, mac-n-cheese, cheese sticks and seems like there was something else.

BWW is just alright in my book. I remember liking the Asian Zing sauce a little. But I haven't set foot in one in probably a couple of years.

Some of the restaurants mentioned we do not have in Dallas...or I have not found them, but Twin Peaks is doing some pretty decent wings.

We went to Hooters for Lundi Gras, my son got some wings and they were actually pretty big. Almost as nice and plump as Olivias arse. Shout out to jmarto for putting out a great product.

Lol, thanks. The current wings aren't our typical wing. The McGregor vs Mayweather fight caused us to sell an extra million wings the supply chain didn't account for. They are just filling holes right now.

7-10 years ago, yes. Not so much these days. I still like Hooters Wings, just not the Daytona. Seems like something has changed.

If you're going back that far I know exactly why. We didn't have a prepared, consistent sauce back then. Everybody had their own recipe. Mine was 3 mile island, honey mustard, BBQ, and brown sugar. Right around that time we started getting Daytona in the bag and didn't have to mix it up anymore.

Wing Stop is far and away the best wings I've had anywhere. Their stores are fairly ubiquitous and the product relatively consistent regardless of which location you go to.

I absolutely love their atomic wings. For whatever reason, a lot of chains shy away from truly spicy, mouth-burning sauces. Wing Stop holds no punches with their atomic sauce. Unfortunately, I shite fire about 8 times the day after eating them but it's somehow worth the punishment from time to time. Their cajun wings are a stomach-safe and tasty alternative. Also, their ranch is the shite and their ranch cups aren't little 1/32oz cups like you get from other places. I appreciate that.

I agree and mentioned moes wings, but it's not what I'd consider a "chain wing establishment"

Hooters. Spicy Garlic. Northshore wing fans try Columbia St. Tap Room in Covington.

Breaded Daytona wings from Hooters are the best
You gotta mix the Daytona sauce with the hot buffalo sauce, baw. That there is legit!

Miller's Ale House has some bomb a-- wings. Not sure if those are only in FL or not though.

BWW is the absolute worse.

A really good surprise and little known fact. Most decent chinese buffets have wings 2 or 3 ways with several sauces ya can put on them plenty tv's and good cold beer.

its fun to go to one with friends drink beer sit in a corner by a tv and watch a game. Endless wings and other stuff cold beer and heck cant beat the price. Ya can eat piles of wings and stuff kinda like a sports bar only different.

I'm team Wingstop. I never loved Hooters or BWW really at any point.

I will admit it's hit or miss like most chains. But the one we grew up going to on South Grand right on the edge of the hood was terrific.

Would "The Blue Store" count as a chain. They do have 3 locations. They have my vote.

They've got good fried wings, but they don't do "hot wings" with sauce. If they did, they'd be the GOAT.

I find their wings aren't very spicy. Tried the 3 mile Island recently expecting them to be so hot that they were inedible. Eh not so much.

try their spicy garlic.

I've been to the WingStop on Vets in Metairie once. The taste was good, but they were the scrawniest wings I ever had. That is the reason I never did go back.
