Oscar's in Metairie and Capdeville in downtown NOLA are the best burgers in GNO.

Shreveport- Oyster Bar

Their burger is incredible.

And the burger at strawn's is good, but I don't know if I'd classify it as 'tops'

Judice Inn might as well sell Mc Donalds burgers. They were thin and not juicy. When I think of a burger, I think of thick and juicy. Also cooked the way I like it(med-rare).

Judice Inn and southside bakery are better than anything I have had in Baton Rouge or New Orleans

You must not eat in BR or NOLA often. I heard from a buddy how great Judice Inn was for weeks and I was thoroughly disappointed. They don't even come close to some of the places in BR or NOLA.

It's different. It's not a gourmet burger. But it does Port of Call better than Port of Call - huge, juicy burger with a stuffed potato.

Best gourmet burger is Capdeville, but Luke's is great.

Had one for the first time a few weekends ago and I wasn't impressed at all. Fat Pat's is still my favorite in Lafayette.

OK OP has been updated.

I disagree with Capdeville, but I've only been once and was not impressed. I will put it on here and give it another try.

Spirit's in Alexandria sells a burger. I always get something else, but I'm sure it's legit. Their flatboy pressed bbq poboy is awesome.

I think oyster bar burgers in Shreveport suck... I would definitely put Papa & Company on E. Washington street above them. They make their own bread and HUGE burgers.

You are on the money in Monroe though

ETA: I had a burger at oyster bar 6 years ago when I first moved to Shreveport. It tasted like a premade microwave patty from Sam's Club. Maybe they have changed their recipe, I saw where someone above me quoted them as "incredible".
