Best Burger on Grand Isle

I know the board loves "Best" threads so in honor of Tarpon Rodeo weekend the best burger on the island goes to Starfish. I'm told they grind their own fresh never frozen meat.

Dude, the Patty-melt from Starfish is one of my favorite meals. Try it next time.

The Conoco (now something else) has good food. But my go to is the cheese burger po-boy from starfish. I've never eaten at Hurricane Hole. Moran's has good food if you want to class it up a bit, but let's be honest, you're in Fourchon/Grand Isle, class was abandoned somewhere around Hahnville.

Hurricane Hole is a nice spot with just ok food. Jo-Bob's is in the Conoco but not as good as Starfish.

Agreed. There's not really any great restaurants on the island. You're better off frying some fish at the camp.

Absolutely. Or, better yet, fresh shrimp. But when I get down there at 7:30 on a Friday I'm not dealing with that. I'm getting a patty-melt from Starfish and loving it.

Everytime I go to Grand Isle, I always make it a priority to stop at the Conoco station. Pretty damn good burgers there.

No doubt but when you are down there a lot you can't do that for every meal. After spending a day on the water sometimes I just need a quick meal without having to clean fish first. Starfish drive thru comes in clutch at times.

the Concoco has been on point for the past 20 years. They always satisfy a hunger, not mater what time of the day or night.
