Good, I was hoping no one from the west coast (pac nw in particular) would come here and shite on our parade.

Yes. Ommegang has been heavy in my rotation lately too.

Back to tetu's OP, I have to say that the multiple gallons of Blood Orange Wit that we drank at Upstream Brewing Company in 2009 is one of the best beers I've ever had.

And I love the Southern Tier Creme Brulee Stout

I love that beer. I had it layered on top of a schafly pumpkin at Flying Saucer KC. Let me just say it was amazing.

I haven't even had a chance to read all of this thread or ponder on what my top beers might be but I just want to let you know that I finally picked up one of these from calandro's tonight. Also something with Brett for the tasting tomorrow...

Oh okay. In that case you're still invited tonight.

I was about to be all nervous you were going to show up with a case of 10 oz. Miller Lites and a sleeveless t-shirt.

i also have two bottles of 3 floyds baller stout. That is definitely a combination of some of the best beers I have had.

Seriously? How the hell did you manage that? I was on struise's website and just happened to run across this

Baller Stout:
quote:

This massive stout [that's the] combined effort of Three Floyds, Surly, Struise and Mikkeller. Literally, we brewed Darklord, Darkness, Black Albert, and Beer Geek Brunch with our friends at our brewery then blended them.
