So if the quality is supposed to suffer when he is out of town shooting this show, then it would have occurred...in the past year, while he was shooting the show.
where was it shot, and for how long? i mentioned this earlier as the biggest variable we were overlooking. If it was local, or a 1 week type shoot, it wouldn't be a big deal.

I do not understand how a comment about a drop in quality related to a taping from 2007 is more relevant than the actual event in which this thread is about.
it's relevant b/c if it dipped once before when he was filming, it's a very legitimate concern going forward. Not sure why that is a crazy concept for you. Since 2007 there have still been some folks on this board who haven't been wowed....even fairly lately. Yes, reviews on here can be taken with a grain of salt, but it hasn't been all stellar.
if his TLC show does well he will be asked to shoot more, and likely more involved shows. I'm not sure why are acting like everything is behind him.

I must confess that there was a gnat in my beer at Luke on a recent Sunday, and I did tell the server about it after I fished it out and drank the beer anyway. It was on the house.

b/c besh wasn't there to fish it out.

Dude was on hyper-vigilant gnat patrol before he started spreading himself too thin.

I know. I am trying to explain it to fizzle, but he is arguing just b/c it's me.
I hear Besh is ambidextrous with the fly swatters. Mr. Miyagi learned from Besh.

I have no answer for this, as I am going by the link you provided.

But then you choose to ignore that since then, while he shot the very show that you arguing about , there was no discernible drop in quality? Not sure how this is a crazy concept for you either.

I mean really? Every review has to be glowing and overly positive? A few unhappy, or [your words] un-"wowed" reports constitutes a drop in quality?

I'm not acting like anything is behind him, I'm just not making any assumptions about stuff I literally have zero information about, namely, whether the show will be popular, he will be asked to do another one, or that it will be more involved. I am, on the other hand, simply stating that the fact that he has already shot the show and that, to the degree that it is reasonable to assume that not every single person that has entered any of his restaurants has had an absolutely glowing review, it is reasonable to assume that he was able to manage his restaurants and his tv show simultaneously.

I'm arguing with you because you're arguing for something to happen that already did not happen.

jesus....again:
we don't know where or how long it was shot. for reasons explained multiple times already.
you already admitted you are judging this info differently b.c it's me and you have some insecure axe to grind. At least admit you are carrying this on to silly extremes for that reason.

How do we not know when it was shot when the article explicitly states that it was shot last year?

Brah, the irony here is thicker than steak from Besh steakhouse.

And that cowboy steak is pretty freaking thick, lemme tell ya.

Shooting length is what i am talking about. As explained already. If it was a typical very quick (1-2 week) shoot for a 1st season reality type show even if it was shot in NYC or LA it is not not a big impact. If it does well and is picked up for season 2 then budgets, episodes, and shooting schedules typically increase substantially...and require much more involvement from the lead. Also, as mentioned multiple times the shooting location plays a big factor.

I just re-read the thread twice, and I didn't see you explain any of that before, much less multiple times as you you have stated multiple times that you explained that, multiple times.(This is me grinding an axe, because you're trying to make it seem like I'm ignoring your posts to discredit mine, and I am not doing that). I don't know anything about producing tv shows, and I understand that you do, if you would have made your last post about 3 pages ago, we could have avoided much of this. I apologize if I didn't understand that initially.

Yep, ever since his steak sauce started being sold in stores.

i did mention shooting location and time earlier in the thread, but i didn't explicitly spell it out as i did in my last post. I forget that not everyone can know everything about everything, like i somehow manage.

no apology needed, no offense taken.

Hell, I think you even knew Butler's last shot was gonna miss by 3 inches a week in advance.

yeah, but it can be a burden at times. It gets tiresome faking excitement and suspense.
