Even if there is a God He may not read TD, but if He does, PLEASE ALLOW BELL'S BEER TO BE IMPORTED INTO LOUISIANA!

I'm writing to Santa Claus next to see if he can help. Gotta try anything.

The tooth fairy is who makes the final decision.

Hold your breath.

That's just plain silly. Everyone knows the tooth fairy isn't real.

No doubt. I could go for a good Oberon on hot days like these.

I've tried many of their brews, very good stuff and it would be a good thing to see here.

I'm down to one 8,000 batch, and I need to contact them to see if this is still good since it was released back in '07. Except for the flight home and Gustav when I was able to keep it somewhat cool, it's been refrigerated since. Still good after four years?

One of the most unique beers I've ever tasted was Larry Bell's 5,000 batch which was a smoke(d) beer. Got to meet the man himself the night of the 5,000th release party in the Chicago area. I've toured the brewery in Kalamazoo several times and am a huge advocate of Bell's beer. Beer connoisseurs in Louisiana don't know what they're missing if they haven't tried it.

Does anyone know of any new breweries coming this way anytime soon?
Seems like the only new stuff I've seen recently was some stuff out of Utah and boulder beer.

I spent a number of years around the Lakes, so yes. The micro brew movement up there is incredible. Goose Island, Great Lakes, Capital, Sprecher, Bell's, etc...

ETA: Lakefront, New Glarus

Bells is in the middle bottom of that Olympic ring set of beer right there.
Just to whet your appetite for that fine company's beer.

You should start a petition or something.

I was more envisioning the movie Falling Down. "I don't want Bud Light, I want a Two Hearted Pale Ale MF."

Yes it is. Map

It's showing...

Savannah Distributing Co.
P.O. Box 1388
Savannah , GA 31402
(912) 233-1167

I'd try calling them to see who they deliver to.

...and pick me up a sixer of Oberon.

I couldn't look it up when I asked. Since have looked it up. It appears they distribute in North Georgia (Atl etc.) through the same company with a Tucker, Georgia address.

Wouldn't ya know...walking distance from my house (fairly long walk).

I will check it out.

Who knows, I might bring you a six when I come down there in August.

Oberon's season may be finished by then, but I'll gladly take Two Hearted Ale.
