I can honestly say I’ve never seen burgers in a crock pot but judging from the sliced pic I’d eat those in a heartbeat

So like others said, what’s the point of the slow cooker?

Another good way to maintain the texture is using the Jack Millers basting spray. It’s the grease from the sauce. Very tasty. Not healthy.

Easy to spot the folks that have never eaten concession stand burgers in Acadiana/south LA in this thread

I do something similar, but add a stick of butter, some Worcestershire sauce, a little Tony’s and a little “regular” bbq sauce. Modeled after the burgers they sell at street festivals in my town.

The leftovers are usually even better once they’ve really soaked up the sauce. Really don’t even need any other toppings. They’re perfect.

If you are ever in the Basile area (Redichs City Cash) pick up some Tee Bay's Barbeque Sauce, I prefer it to Jack Mllers for ballpark burgers.

I'm pretty sure if I ate one of those today it would kill me, but damned if teenage me didn't hoover those down at festivals and after ball games.

I had the awful coincidence of eating some Jack Miller's pork chops the same night I got a stomach bug.

I haven't been able to eat it since, I'm fighting the good fight though. Gotta keep trying.

My son had his first Dominos pizza the night he got a virus. About two years ago. He can’t even watch the commercials
