BR has a handful of really solid Italian restaurants - Nino's, Gino's, DiGiulio Bros, Palermo, LaContea and on the more causal side Anthony's Italian Deli.
I've never had La Divina but my wife likes it.
Ninos might be my favorite of the bunch though.
You left out the best one.

I haven't eaten there in years but I remember liking it. I'm not a huge fan of the sweeter sauce but it's a nice change of pace sometimes.
If only we had the same variety of BBQ to choose from here. That's really the only food category where I find BR to be woefully lacking.

a Korean bbq joint would be nice, too. Ive only had it once but loved it. I think you can pick up bits and pieces of it at different restaurants but I dont know that theres a true Korean bbq place

The old Cracker Barrel on Perkins and Hollydale is gonna be a BBQ joint.
It’s the same chef that was at Bumsteers which failed basically directly across the road. Hopefully the new place is much better.

By Pinettas? Which I also like but I know it's old and dusty which turns some people off.

The Little Village - the bread never disappoints. Could be the closest thing to heaven on earth.
Also, I've never had a bad meal at Louisiana Langniappe.

A Teriyaki place would do very well in BR, especially around the LSU area.

Their very talented chef left for Solera/Bin 77 group.
Friend of mine that ate there yesterday said they weren't turning tables because orders were at 45 minutes out. She was told the kitchen was all new employees who I guess weren't super experienced yet.
I hope Merchant doesn't lose its quality long term.
