Bacon bourbon. Add a tablespoon bacon grease to bourbon, stir and let steep, infuse at room temp for a few hours then put into freezer. After awhile remove and strain solidified grease out of bourbon.
Make a bacon bourbon and maple cocktail.

And an FYI- I cook bacon on a rack sitting in a cookie sheet in a 325 oven. I like to cook it slow. It doesn't shrink, holds its shape and the grease drops below onto the pan which leaves a very clean not scorched fat.
Make biscuits with it or homemade corndog batter.
Sauté some shrimp in it for a good shrimp salad.

Rub bacon grease on potatoes before baking them. Just place the bacon grease coated potatoes directly on the grill in the oven and bake.
Makes the skins crispy and delicious.

My mom makes a salad with bacon grease and some mayo and spices that is delicious but I feel my heart clog when I eat it.

I always do veggies in bacon grease. Namely mustard/collard greens and green beans. Heat the grease and saute your onions/garlic in it.. perfect base for vegetables.
Like someone said, just use it like you would oil/butter.

I use this. I recommend highly
I think it was around 20$. It's fabulous bc you can keep it on the counter and it has a strainer. I use bacon grease for rouxs, eggs, grilled cheese, etc.

How long does it last?
You have to keep it in the refrigerator?
I really should start doing this. I will often fry a bit of bacon for these dishes to create the grease and then use it fresh. But, I should just keep the old if it works.

If you start keeping it, you will use it and not need to worry about how long it lasts!
Seriously, it lasts a long time and doesn't need to be refrigerated. Plenty of grandmothers have had a can of bacon grease near the stove for longer than some of us have been around.
