Local craft beer bar makes avocado/bacon grilled cheese with pepperjack on Texas toast. Damn fine sandwich.

I eat avocado toast every morning on homemade sourdough with Everything Bagel spice and a fried runny egg every morning. To quote TulaneLSU, 'It sustains me.'

I eat avocado toast a couple of times a week. I mash up the avocado, add some red onion, maybe some fresh tomato if I have it, season with S & P and Slap Yo Mamma. Smear it on toasted sourdough and top with a fried egg and Wickles pepper spread dropped across the top of the egg.

You "let" her make it for you and next time you're going to "make her put bacon on it"- how old are you, five...six?

It's not like avo on bread is so revolutionary.
Considering it’s been on restaurant menus on the west coast since the 1990s, I’d say you were behind the trend on this one

Slice a boiled egg and top it. Spicy honey does well on top as well

I buy local honey frequently. Do you spice your own? I’ve not seen it sold.

There’s a brand called Mikes Hot Honey I usually see.
